Hi and welcome to the new year 2009! After a longer break concerning OPK-News, we have got something new for you! This update will enlarge the german zoo.
The Ocelot is a small wild cat living in South-America. It prefers living alone and operates in nighttime. In marked contrast to what we want to show you today, the Ocelot weighs about 15 kg.
In OPK it's of course NOT the cat but the light anti-aircraft missile system vehicle Wiesel 2 "Ozelot".
The light anti-aircraft missile system is based on the Wiesel 2, equipped with a 110 HP Diesel-engine. In addition to that it is air-conditioned and has got an on-board GPS and a recon-system.
The Ozelot is armed with 8 AA-Missiles and one MG3 for self-defence. The launching-device is made to launch rockets of the type "FIM-92 - Stinger". But also the "SA-16 - IGLA" can be launched after little changes. Alternative to these rockets also MISTRAL or RBS 70 MK I are availlable.
Now to the facts of the Ozelot. The Model was made by Helifreak (
BWmod for ArmA). In one of the following News we will show you the skin.
